Rose, I agree, the site can be so very supportive, I know I wish I had found it when our lass first began her journey ( you can check out my profile).....you have found a good place, there are a few problems from time to time, nowhere is perfect, but on the whole everyone is fighting the one common enemy.....
Moom, we go on 29th. Yes that is indeed me in the picture. It was taken a couple of months ago. I look the same although i did weigh myself recently... have i been stress eating???
I have a happy bunny of a hubby, he has just invented a map carrier for our new folding bikes.....those of you who have known me for a while will remember that, apart from our lass battling with this disease, my hubby had a big spinal op in February this year as he could barely walk, and has now improved a little but long walks in the hills is probably never going to be the hobby we loved to do together any more, he has pain and still a lot of limitation of mobility but at least we can get onto bikes and get about a bit.....we can get the bikes into the car so can go further afield too......love and hugs to all.........
We've been discussing how we might fit solar panels to a mobility scooter so that Alan can 'take to the hills again...' any ideas??? Sales people say no-one has asked before!!!!!

Today the weather seems good enough for a christening of the new map holder, so I think the bikes will be in use again......maybe with some lunch in the saddle bags, and a picnic rug too......
*BAD NEWS* i am totally covered in mosquito bites (i think) all over my arms, the itch is driving me to distraction!!! Piriton = useless
*GOOD NEWS* only two sleeps till I see my lovely Rachel Sharkey and my in-laws again!!! Am super excited. Haven't booked my return flight which, if you ask me is just looking for trouble! (lengthy stay anyone?)

Hello, Erin, hope you have tried the old fashioned stuff like Calamine for those bites, anti-histamine cream too...sounds soooo itchy, I know how bad it can be when we got bitten in Scotland, went in one of the midge seasons, without realising!
