    Hi Helen,

Did some banking at Bletchley for work today.. Saw the sign for Bletchley Park & it made me think of you. Hope you & hubs are both enjoying it & hope Caz is feeling ok.

    Love & best wishes..

    xx

  • Mary, the sun shone so much today that it was too nice to work too hard, just a choir rehearsal, some washing and gardening, haha!

Leah, its such fun but there are some VERY strange types there! I guess anywhere that is almost exclusively run by volunteers has the same trouble, haha!

My love and hugs to you all

Hi yesterday my mum, who has terminal extensive small cell lung cancer, saw her oncologist for the results of her scan after chemo.  We knew she'd been doing well and were hopeful there would be good shrinkage.  We were amazed when he told us she was NED!  He showed us the scans from October and March.  In October there was a big tumour in the centre of her chest, the cancer was also present in the surrounding lymph nodes and she had a slight pulmonary edema.  Move to March, after 6 rounds of carboplatin and etoposide, and there was nothing to see!  No sign of anything.  I hope mums story gives others hope.  Caroline XX
