Caz is teaching today, she says there are exams tomorrow, on Orchestral Excerpts, which means she will probably be listening to lots of individual versions of 'Bolero' which can be a tough one on trombone.....I bet she will be coaching a lot.....
I will be meeting up with our local Mac nurse on Thursday, and setting out what has happened so far, sort of touching base with her, in case any of us at this end of the country want/need help at some stage. she is lovely so I think it will be ok.
I'm about to be interviewed too, on behalf of Caz, by a reporter from our local 'rag', I wanted to help publicise the CD and to help publicise the fact that a diagnosis isn't an immediate death sentence these days, and that a full and busy enjoyable life can still be lived, even over 5 years on from diagnosis. I really hope the CD will raise awareness of Macmillan and the work they do, too.
love and hugs to you all

Hi Helen,
Glad to hear your dear daughter is getting on with her life, such a lovely girl with so much strength and determination. Give her a (((((((((hug))))))))))) from me when you next see her.
Hope everything goes well with your meeting, sure it will, it will help to talk to her about what has happened love.
Well done!, to help publicise the CD, also that diagnosis is not an immediate death sentence will help other suffers so much Helen, how I admire you all. And of course all of the valuable work that Macmillan does.
The warmest of (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))) to you all

Ah well, interviewed this morning.......hmm, hope she gets a nice story together ok.......Caz has a rotten cold, poor lass, she is at home trying to get rid of it......she usually doesn't let 'em get a hold, sweats it out big time while in bed!
Really grey here, I want to go off for a walk but it's so grey I'm not too inspired! Have a good friend coming round this afternoon.....
love and hugs to you all

Hi Helen - hope the 'story' goes down well and you get lots more interest in the CD and in fundraising for Mac............Did the reporter bring a photographer too? I got caught out a couple of weeks ago - doing a fundraising coffee morning in the centre where i work and in strolls the photographer from our local paper to take my piccy..............Absolutely no warning - and no escape!!!!!!!!! I hate having my photo taken!!!!!
I do hope that Caz will be able to fight off that cold....poor girl....I'd suggest a hot toddy (or 2) as my Gran used to swear by them (a cure-all for everything she reckoned!) - but not everyone likes whisky!!!!! And they're not the same without!!!! They may not do much - but you go to bed happy!!!!!!
Enjoy your afternoon with your friend...............
Love and ((((hugs)))) to you all

Ayurvedic head massage, that was what Caz enjoyed yesterday......
Been to meet with Fay, our local Macmillan nurse, she is lovely and suggested a couple of ideas to me...(it is a bit difficult for us this end of the country) and is happy to see either of us if or when we need someone just to talk to!
Have a book on the way from my bruv, 'Healing Laughter', has anyone heard of it/read it? Apparently laughter can indeed heal, Fay also has hinted at a trial about laughter!
