Hope Monday is the day, as we all are wanted at one of the local trombonists funeral, her pal Andy,( he wasn't professional but was her predecessor on first desk with the band when she was a kid!) on Wednesday, Caz is playing a solo for him, and needs to get to the band prac on Tuesday.....
And her preferred Trom is still in the Airways store in Acton! (it came back 'cargo' from the recent tour) Expect she might have to use the one here if she can't get her hands on it.....we have folk working on the plan to get it as I type! lol! Chaos always, chez-us! part of the fun, isn't it????? haha!
Moomy
absolutely - no fun if it wasn't complicated!
So , so sorry to hear about andy - ~i saw your earlier post. there is no getting away from this damned disease, is there!
Most of alan's family live in Bournemouth and his cousin's son, David, got married in August. He's 38, and lovely - everyone despaired of him ever settling down. His wife Jo is smashing; she's in her early 30s. last week she was diagnosed witha brain tumour; we have yet to hear if it is benign or malignant, or if it could be removed by surgery . ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
keep smilimg for your girlie
sue xx
Sue, this disease is soooo cruel and doesn't stop does it? Caz organised a replacement for her trumpet pal who is nearing the end of chemo for B/C, and the poor replacement lass has just been diagnosed herself. Small world in this cancer, too.....it sucks!

Hi Helen - Back from Montreal & trying to catch up with all the news. I went to hear our son who was playing viola in the Montreal Bach Festival.. They performed Bach's Mass in B minor with the most amazing choir, and it was recorded on the CBC. So of course I kept thinking of you & of Caz.. Hope it has been going well over there. Sending love & hugs!! Mau
