Hi I think I might apply for that. I don’t want to go into all my finances as I feel that’s private I would rather apply for something like this that’s not means tested. I’ve paid in all my life and never claimed anything so I might just apply.

Ring mcmillan they put me in touch with a citizens advice advisor who specialises in cancer. They helped me with filling in pip and with universal credit enquiries, they are fabulous.
When I first applied I got a one year award at lower rate. But when I came to renew it I got the lifetime high rate award. And it only took 14 days. And that I think was due to tip top paperwork. Make it easy for them to agree.!
