Hello Rachel Ldc
Thank you for reaching out to us here at Macmillan. Exercise can help with mental and physical wellbeing, so it is good that you are looking into this. Have you been allocated a CNS - cancer nurse specialist? If so, you can contact them and enquire about this or you can always contact your GP surgery as they should be able to guide you too.
It is worth taking a look at our Support with diet, exercise and healthy lifestyle information on our website, I can see you are part of the breast cancer group - it is worth having a search through there for information and support too Ldc
Our Physical activity and cancer and Healthy eating and cancer booklets may also be useful.
Rachel, you mention you're going through treatment - how are you finding everything currently? We are here to support you by providing a listening ear, a place to talk - to go through how you are feeling, ways to cope as well as more practical information with our information and support advisors. We also have our nurses for clinical information (this can include diet, exercise etc so it is worth speaking to them) and we have a money and work team too for financial support and work information. You can reply here or if you prefer you can call our helpline 0808 808 0000, chat online through our Webchat service or Email support - we are here 7 days a week 8am-8pm.
Ldc please do come back to us if you ever need to.
