I’ve just started chemo and have been advised not to continue with my kefir, which I use for gut health and has bacteria. Just wondering why?

Diagnosed last July. Now it’s active. I have enlarged lymph nodes in both sides of neck. Plus one lymphoma of 7.5 mm in one side. Appt for hospital for 2 hours soon. Will I need to start treatment at this point.
