Sadly I lost my mum ages 47 5 months ago to sepsis. I was there when she took her last breath. I knew she was not going to make it through the night when I saw her during the day. To this day i keep getting flash backs off that last night.
I was told yesterday 1 malignant in kidney (I only have 1, lost other in 2000 along with a 15cm tumour) 1 in stomach and 3 in pancreas, so one hell of a day yesterday!!! MDT meeting tomorrow so hopefully will know more by Friday. Will keep you informed.
Mum has L/cancer and sec bone mets.done 3 rounds chemo 2 I’ll for 4th.had immuno 5 wks ago 4 wks hosp with every s/effect Worst chronic fatigue.home 2wks ago cant walk dress herself visit the toilet alone missed 2nd 3rd treatment no strength/energy Help!
My mum will start radiotherapy for ten days which will fall over the Christmas period has anyone else had a similar experience and when having radio does the side effects kick in straight away?
It is now 19 months since my treatment finished snd I still feel rubbish. I have aches and pains and I am fed up keep being told 'it's just one of those things'
