Does anyone know the science behind the use of black/dark varnish to prevent nail loss ? Works for some not others, why is this ?? Should i just paint them anyway just in case ??

I know I might come across as completely stupid, but my husband who has cancer, which is not curable asked me today, if his cancer is not curable, can it go into remission? If anyone knows the answer, I would be grateful to hear it. Angie x
my mum was diagnosed and operated on last august for a grade 4 brain tumor. after radiotherapy and now on chemo, told today that she has now got another two tumors and that the old tumor is growing faster than the chemo can kill it.
My mums receiving palliative care for lung and brain cancer, she's very poorly at home after first chemo, lost the use of her legs and very wobbly. My question is her legs feel very very cold, I'm scared of what this means, anyone know?
