My nan is having radical surgery for mesothelioma. Can I please ask if any of your loved ones have had this op and if it was sucessful? She cant have chemo so surgery is the only option but it is a major op.

I have just received the result of my prostate biopsy. Gleason 4 - 5, can anyone explain to me in
language I can understand exactly what this means. I realise that this is minimal information, but
any comments would be appreciated.
My mum was diagnosed with T-Cell NHL 7 weeks ago now, she is currently in hospital for a minimum of 4 days on high intensity chemo. I am worried about the risk of infection. How can we reduce the risk of infection?

I am due to go for surgery in the 4/6 weeks, thererfore any help regarding the surgery, complications etc.

I lost my soul mate and husband 2 months ago suddenly after a very intense chemo regime rather than the cancer he was originally diagnosed with. I know I'm not alone in this situation - would like to hear from anyone else in the same situation.
