The Waiting Game

For any one that has been told they have cancer but not what one they have and it takes time to find out it can be very stress full to you and every one around you.you really do have to try and stay strong. i was told i had cancer b4 christmas  2010 and a week later after a pet scan told its spread to my spine so have a mass tumour aswell by my lung have had 2 biopsy's were some i now with a professor but im still waiting to find out what is got to see a doc on 7/2/2011 but ur find thay dont mean to but ur family and friends will stress you out but asking u every 5mins have they rung and when they have well what did they say and when u say dont know ur get back this is a joke now u can see what i mean thats all your here and it does stress u in the end the docs are not sitting drinking cups of coffee or trying to hide stuff from u some things are just harder than others and they want to get it right any one waiting please keeps ur chin up ur find out in the end :)

    its all a waiting game rob from waiting on results to waiting for hours once your in the clinic for blood tests which are endless i waited 2 hrs to get my blood done the other day before my chemo so had no option but to wait and that was in barts also had two appointments in two different clinics when i got there for my time i asked how many before me oh said the nurse 8 people right i said great no point in turning up early then she just laughed one whole day out my life waiting again good job im in no hurry eh ???hope your news is good monday let us know hun how you get on we have all been there so know how ya feel keep positive love and hugs jen xxxx

    Hi rob - I, too, have a very rare cancer, called 'Phaeochromocytoma' one in a million or something. No comfort there - but it took ages to actually find out what it was, and to get to see the right man (also a Prof).  But I well remember the frustration of waiting for biopsy results, different tests etc, I thought I was going to crack completely.  But I didn't, and eventually I got the right treatment.  Hang on in there, Jeanie x

    i must apologise to every one i dont know how to reply individually to each person all i can see is delete   not going near that lol i really want to thank every one for taken there time to read and reply to me have read every word every one has said and has shown we will all get sorted in the end its just our time and these doc and nurses work so hard for us except the one when i was in hospital offered me a cup of tea then done the off with out getting me one then i really wanted one they can be so crawl :) but really thank u all can see light at the end of the tunnel and hope u all get better soon

    yes least we all go through it so we know the docs not picking on us lol :)
