Well I finally got the results, 9 nodes removed one showing affected, lumpectory showed receptors right to the end of lump so mastectomy and chemo advised. Head all over the place and hubby asking all the relevant questions, me meantime sitting breathing like I was in labour and having hot flushes. The Mac nurse is asking me if I want to see pictures of mastectomy, me shaking my head but still remembering my manners "NO THANK YOU" Asked the question when can you do it and have a date 4th Nov so its time now to get my head round all of this and onward and upward as they say.

Hi Terri,

Am sorry about your results. I was in exactly your position only 7 weeks ago. Your head will be all over the place but just think at least you will be having it all taken away and you got your husband who sounds very supportive and you will get through. i will be thinking of you on the 4th but if you want to talk just let me know.

Hi Terri

Not the news you were hoping for girl. Take time to get your head round it we'll be here for you and as Debs says "We can carry you for a few days matey." I also can't say anything wise and meaningful, but i'm sure many on here can especially those who have walked this walk before you.

Hi Terri

Better safe than sorry my love.

Had mastectomy, full clearance of aux lymph nodes, chemo and radiotherapy.

Having reconstrucion early next year.

Will be as good as new then.
