Bye all

Hi swillybilly.

A few members have mentioned to us that you’re posting a lot of humorous anecdotes to your blog. While that’s not necessarily a bad thing, and we think there’s definitely a place for humour in our community, you need to be aware that it can cause a bit of upset when this sort of thing is posted regularly, since not everybody who visits our site is in a laughing mood.

Bye then - I tried but I am not staying on here if there is no place for humor - sad that a few ruin it for those that enjoy a laugh especially in the face of adversity, sad indeed.

Keep blogging - the admin says 'a few' - out of how many 'active' members are that 'few'?

In all honesty I frequent many sites that have blogs and not everyones blog is to everyones liking - same for the real world people.  There is nothing offensive in your blogs that I've seen, it's humour and intended to make people laugh.

If someone does not find it funny then they simply do not have to read it.......

Just a wee note to the admin team.  So, a 'few' people have complained about one person's blog posts.  Have you noticed the amount of support this person is actually receiving from the other members of this site. It seems to me and has done on a few occasions in the past that the opinions of a minority are considered over the opinions of the majority.  As foxilady says this is censorship at it's best.  Not very democratic methinks!

    Hi Swillybilly,

Please rethink your decision and stay and carry on with your humour. Laughter is not a bad thing, through cancer my lovely man suffered 3 years of terrible pain, but we could not have got through it all without humour, he himself would make light of some dire situations.  This last week I have watched my man suffer the most horrendous death, but in all the sadness and pain my wonderful man still managed to provide us with something to smile at, bless him.

So for those 'few' people who have complained about swillybilly's blogs...please go and find something else to read, and leave those of us, who need some humour to keep us sane, to carry on reading his blogs.  Do you really think that all these people take this beastly disease lightly...of course they don't, but they don't want to drown in the depths of depression either.  Just because you don't like the content of a blog, doesn't mean that the rest of us are wrong.

Majority rules, swillybilly...looks like you'll have to stay or dissapoint us all.   xx
