A few members have mentioned to us that you’re posting a lot of humorous anecdotes to your blog. While that’s not necessarily a bad thing, and we think there’s definitely a place for humour in our community, you need to be aware that it can cause a bit of upset when this sort of thing is posted regularly, since not everybody who visits our site is in a laughing mood.
Bye then - I tried but I am not staying on here if there is no place for humor - sad that a few ruin it for those that enjoy a laugh especially in the face of adversity, sad indeed.

Hear! Hear! everyone. I've always believed this site to be for everyone regardless of differences of opinion. Yes, cancer is a very sad, devastating illness, but I, for one, do not want to spend every minute of every day dwelling on it all the sadness surrounding it. When someone comes along and brings a little brightness into that bleakness I cannot praise them enough.
As Graeme has said swillybilly's stories are not to everyone's liking, but I don't come on here to get involved in every single post, so surely if there is a blog that someone doesn't like they don't read it.
Please reconsider swillybilly, I think it would be really sad that you leave those you have made friends with.
Yeah Billy you keep blogging if you want. If people don't want to read your blogs they don't have to. There is nothing wrong with humour, infact, isn't it true that laughter is good for you? I'm sure I've read this somewhere. Often I come onto this site feeling really down and go off feeling much better because I've been able to laugh with some of my friends in chat. We don't have to be sad 24/7 because we are dealing with this horrible disease. Caroline XX
