where did it all go 2

1 minute read time.

Well I got to know that silver cross pram quite well over the next two years sometimes I had to share Top to Toe with a later addition of mothers team but it was a tank of a pram built to last one hundred years; or fifty kids!, whichever the sooner. It once saved my life when the brakes disengaged at the top of Castlegate and it went charging down this one in five cobblestoned hill towards the seafront. It never negotiated the bend in the road at the bottom and shot into Mr. Evens shop at a speed that should have been noted in the Guinness book of records had Norris Mc Wherter been forewarned of this attempt on my life. As mother let it be known of her intention to badly maim anyone found connected to this event, no one wisely admitted to knowledge of the perpetrator. The damaged goods in the shop were rationed goods so they had to be replaced by the Ministry of food and rationing; or someone like that. Mother had a store cupboard full to the rafters and was therefore sworn to secrecy. My self like a modern f1 racing driver had full confidence in my steed to survive me the crash and I escaped with minor bruising and extra condensed milk having by h now been “weaned” off the warm and wonderful breast and onto Condensed milk and water.

Hi skipper,  you need to take better care of yourself, that cant have been nice not being able to get back up. Big hug. The pram dash doesnt surprise me at all, come on tell the truth, did you release the breaks yourself??

I bet the family were pleased with the extra rations, did it happen on a regular basis??

    take care

how can I explain why hard floors in hall and bathroom.

well I dont move from a sleeping start as fast as I used to and while I get to the bathroom ok I sometimes leave a few drops on the way.. now a carpet cannot be mopped over if need be and a hard floor can,

I,m very concerned that when folk visit my house they find it a pleasent, clean and tidy place, so the ability to mop over a floor , kitchen, hall or bathroom

    helps.

I like to bake and cook but I have carpal tunnel syndrome so my hands do as this wish a bit and   things get dropped ,hence the posh tin mugs for when I am here alone, they bounce ,hand painted royal staffordshire china doesnt.

how can I explain why hard floors in hall way and bathroom

Well I dont take off from a sleeping start like I used to so sometimes though rarely I might leave a few drops of the wet stuff on the floor on my way to the bathroom

its only drops but a carpet cannot be mopped like a hard floor and it was the fact that I had just had to use the mop on the laminate hallway floor that turned it into a ice rink., I couldnt leave it till "morning" because it dries sticky because I am diabetic and then it takes more effort to mop it clean, so thats why I using the mop at four in the morning

Course the damp laminate hall floor turned into an ice rink and my feet went in different directions.

Its a warning and I take it as such so runners it has to be .

so a runner in the kitchen is ok and I can put it on the wall outside and give it swill with the power washer ,sometimes I spill flour or drop the cake tin when its got the mix in it ,funny how you never drop an empty tin!

lol skipper, us young ladies just dont consider the things you have to go through, i guess the hard floor makes sense when you put it like that. If you struggle to get there in time maybe you could keep a bottle near you, to save the mad dash, then you could just stroll rather than dash to the bathroom.
