hi there i found my lump on my left breast on 4th dec 2010 i went to my docs on the 6th dec i had a apointment at the breast clinic onthe13th dec were i had tests i was told on the 16th dec that i had breast cancer and that i would have to have a mastectomy and lymph nodes removed that was done on the22nd dec i was in hospital just a day i was home for christmas but because christmas and new year hols i dont get my results until 11th jan2011 all this as happen so fast i just hope that we have got it in time

My heart goes out to you and I wish you positive news at your appointment on 11th. I too have been on a rollercoaster ride since going to my GP on 16 November for something totally unrelated and had no idea that my casual mention of a hardness in my left breast would lead me to have tests and 2 operations in December with the prospect of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy looming at some point in the near-future! I still haven't got my head around this turn of events but am so thankful that quick action, just as you appear to have received, has been taken.
