Goodnight My Amazing Daddy

My amazing Daddy went to sleep yesterday at 13:40, at home with all his family.  Him and my beautiful Mam made peace and he was in our family home.

 

Love you Dad with all my heart and soooooooooooooooooooooooo much more xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi Sam

    It's so sad, I really feel for you as I know your heart is breaking right now. I lost my Mum on Boxing Day last year and 10 months on I can't help but re-live her final days over and over. We also managed to get my Mum home and I think you will be so thankful of this over the next few months - knowing that you helped make your Dad's final days comfortable will help you so much.

    Cry lots and let yourself grieve. Don't put pressure on yourself to 'cope' - nobody is expecting you to.

    Two weeks today and its hurting more and more and not getting better - its getting worse.  I just want dad back.  I know i did all i could for him and i did make him happy but we had so many things planned which now i wont do with him.
