Hi my. Ame is haseeb I am from Manchester I am 17 years of age this is the first time I've ever posted on one of these sites I was just looking for some advise when I was about 13 maybe 12 I noticed 2 symemetrical lumps on either side of my neck they were quite far up on left and right side I went to the doctors about it because I was very concerned because at the time. My mum had lymphoma as well so she was also very concerned I went to the doctors and they said if the swelling doesn't go down after a few weeks then come back so I did they then sent me to a specialist I didn't have any sort of scan or biopsy or anything that I can remember but he just had general feel about in my neck and various other places he also said the same thing that they are just swollen glands my mum specifically said that she doesn't want to find out that in a few years it turns out to be lymphoma he said its nothing to worry about its nothing like that soo with him being the doctor I was only young I agreed with him and left over the years every time I have gone to the doctors for other reasons I always mention my lumps are still there and. They have a little feel and say they are just regular glands I had no other symptoms of lymphoma so I believed him but over the years none of the lumps have disappeared I have been finding more and more lumps I have one lymph node on the right which is just smaller then a 5p size and a little bit above I have two tiny lumps and I have two tiny lumps symmetrical on the left side as well and then just above my left collar bone bait further up my neck I have a groups of lumps like all together it's like a small oval sort of shape but with little lumps around these have been there for few years now I am currently on holiday I went to the doctors just before my holiday and complained about these lumps he said its nothing to worry about when your back we will get a scan booked and while I've been over here I noticed my submandibular gland is very swollen it is noticeable without feeling its like an m&m size I noticed it about 3 weeks ago it is still the same size no pain and just today I have started getting pain swallowing and I am very concerned am wondering weather I should book an early ticket back to England to get it checked out because my mother passed away with lymphoma
