63 and trying to join the modern way of doing things .

I have got lung mets from bowel and have had 7 sessions, had ct scan and lung mets have not changed but no new growths so onc and i happy.
I am interested in cyber knife and laser and have found a dr at The Royal Bromton hospital in London, think it is Ladras who has a fairly new machine that lasers mets in lungs and other places. I phoned his secretary she was very nice and said you need to be refered and your onc needs to send lastest ct scans.They do it under the nhs and private.
He has been having some good results, so If my lung mets have'nt shrunk after my chemo am going to ask to be refered there .

Hi Pam , I have been told that only chemo will work on mets in liver secondary spots ..I cannot accept this ..has anyone had other treatment ...?? I am not happy with explanations I am being given by one oncologist .
I asked to be seen by a liver specialist and she said it would be a waste of time !
Exasperated .
