As if to prove a point....

Less than one minute read time.

…. Bertie scoffed my cake last night.

It was a delicious cake, or at least the bits I’d eaten were. A spiced Dorset apple cake (or a Dorset spiced apple cake maybe?) made by my lovely, slightly loopy, terribly gorgeous (please note any single, handsome gentlemen that may be reading), friend Pippa.

Bertie is confined to the dog naughty corner for the next week and I’ve ordered some padlocks for the kitchen cupboards!

That is a very bad Bertie.  I will send The Hounds down to sort him out  .... Mind you, they would probably be a little confused by the Dog-chick.  You see, I have been paying attention!

Morning BF- I've a large chocolate & courgette cake on the kitchen table if you 'd like a piece as a replacement ? Mind you it's only safe there as my sisters dog hasn't seen it yet - mine is quite good, but he does try his best with his attentive ears & soul melting eyes.

Now dorset Apple cake - I'm jealous as my Apples aren't ready yet. I'll just go & do a Prince Charles- 'Come on get growing & ripening you slow apples'
