Shame Escoffier doesn't come here anymore.

My schoolgirl Spanish leads me to believe she's 36 and her dad has bowel cancer.  The whole family feels bad and without hope.  However, right now all is fine, he's had his operation and is finishing his chemotherapy.... or words to that effect!

    Your call, Bill....

My Spanish is worse than that. I would love to talk to her but my limited 'tourist spanish' wont allow it.

Our conversations would be limited to Buenos dias, 'tardes, and Buenos Notches and la cuenta forfavor. Not very productive I'm afraid.

Hey Marsha, don't hide your light under a bushel - you can obviously understand Spanish better than you let on! Anything else you want to admit to?
