Less than one minute read time.

well, what a rollercoaster im on, as is everybody else on this site...had my hair cut short 2 weeks ago...cos they say its not so bad if your hair is short.....(NOT).. but only got a week out of it..and it suited me ....so my friends said, now i had it shaved cos its coming out and i keep playing with it....arggg, so....im sat looking at my wig....its actually quite nice, doesent keep my head warm though! ive been wearing a headscarf when i go out , it's ok, it's vanity really.....but i must say iv'e got to the point that i really dont give a hoot .......so if i feel like dressing up ...it's the wig.....dressing down....headscarf....lol

You could always get a woolen beanie hat.

    Do you know about headstrong:

They don't just limit themselves to breast cancer cases.

Everyone is different, you must do what makes you feel the best, this is my second time at losing my hair, no it doesn't get easier, but in the grand scale of things (cancer) it's a small price to pay, and I does grow back, I did have a go at scarves bought about a dozen ha ha ha, I sewed a cut up wig into 3 baseball caps, and wore them mostly the first time, I have a great wig this time,  if the weather is good I go "g.I. Jane" I don't have a problem with being bald, and I like to think I am helping with breast cancer awareness,

Good luck with all your treatment Polly

    Hi there,

Devastated at loosing my hair. Have a lovely wig which i wear wen i go out. Lots of hats and scarves. My favourite is a cap. I have it on now cos my head gets cold. Hair is now growing back but still like to cover head.

Take care, hope all goes well for you
