Dad was in so much pain this morning he had already taken all of his meds which turns out is much more than i was lead to believe. We had to call the hospital and they wanted me to call an ambulance but he refused ... in the end i had to drive him, god every bump in the road went through him like a shockwave it was the worst 20 mins of my life seeing him in that much pain.
Any way the hospital have pretty much tripled his pain medication and have put out an urgent call for a pain management specialist to come to the house in the next couple of days and also a macmillan nurse. I don't ever want to see him in the pain he was in today.
I know we are nearing the end and the only thing i pray for now is my dad not to be in this pain again.
He is at home now with my mum and brother and apparently the new pain relief is starting to take effect.....i truly hope so.
