I have lots of similar things like that; it must be very confusing for them also. The nurse has taken blood to see if my mum’s calcium is low, apparently this can cause confusion etc if it is, I don’t know if you have been told about this. We are just waiting to hear. Hope you get it all sorted out ok,, Hugs to you xxx

would get someone to check her bloods as there are a few things that can cause this including low calcium and low sodium

hope that you get an answer xx

Having similar problems here - doctor thinks it's probably related to meds as he takes about a dozen different pills a day for this & that plus Fentanyl (synthetic morphine) patches. He can't remember what day it is, thought we were in April yesterday, has hallucinations, panic attacks, memory loss, depression. As if the physical problems aren't bad enough. This disease is truly merciless. Thinking of you & all others going through the mill xx

Is she on morphine?  My mum got really confused when her dose was increased too quickly.  Low sodium and calcium are definitely worth investigating and can be treated if necessary.  Is she drinking enough? Dehydration and low sodium are linked.  Hope you get this sorted.  Caroline XX
