Hi New to Myeloma

Less than one minute read time.

Hi

I new on the block.  On New Year's day they found a tumour on by mum's spine she needed to have major surgery she survived this and it took some time to come up with a diagnosis.  She has grade 3 myeloma and a mixture of slow and aggressive cells, just got the news yesterday.  She is being admitted into the Marsden tomorrow as a inpatient for intensive treatment  hopefully have a stem cell transplant.  I have scared myself silly researching this particular cancer.  I guess  I am looking for support and positivity when facing such adversity.

My mum is a wonderful lady given all her life never been ill and has no other medical conditions.  Very hard to accept and come to terms with.  Your support would be very much welcomed.  Given that some of my friends can't even talk to me or get in contact.

Best wishes

Fi
