my son got his scan results ..... not very good ....bloody crap really
the last 2 months chemo havent worked
the tumor hardly shrunk at all
he now has to go for surgery to have it removed
the doc said he will be having it done real soon - within the next 2 weeks
im bloody scared - i was in shock when he told me - i had a little weep - he cuddled me
but
now 3 days later it all seems more positive
my son is so well - so strong - i get so much strength from him
as he said and his doc ........ at least there is something that can be done ....
it could be so much worse ..........

I'm so sorry to hear that. You were so kind to me when I got the news about my son.
I absolutely understand how awful it is to see your child go thru these things - but at least they can 'go in' and hopefully get it out. I'm thinking of you and your family, love Jeanie x
I'm not sure if this helps but I had chemo for 4 cycles (bowel cancer +liver and lung mets) and there was no shrinkage at all. I had the bowel and liver tumours removed ad they said that quite a lot of the tumours was dead and the chemo had worked in that way so there is always hope for your son. I wish him and you all the best for the surgery and I hope they can remove it all.
