Hello all, I have been reading a lot on this site for a while and have decided to bite the bullet and join in. I am 36 and in July after a chest infection which turned to phnemonia was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I am still cant believe this has happened to me, I lost my mum to lung cancer 9 years ago so have some idea of how this will pan out. Having said that I have had 4 cycles of chemo and feel great so at the moment feel like a bit of a fraud. I have a fab husband who is my rock and two daughters 8 and 12 who are riding this adventure with me.
I decided in the summer that I would cope with this horrible disease the only way I know how, lots of humour and to take it as it comes. I would love to hear from anyone, I have threaterned to return to work in the near future as I am no domestic godess and I am making the house look untidy sitting around all day.
Bye for now
Helen
