Recently I discovered that a work associate of my late husband, Simon, took an advantage of the condition of Simon's brain tumour and made a nice profit out of it. I suspected something like this was happenning at the time, but as Simon's brain tumour was in his left temporal lobe where communication and memory was controlled, Simon could not remember the details of the business agreement (crucial part being just verbal according to the other party) I could not prove my suspicion.
Now that the same guy tried the same tricks on other people (with no brain tumour) 2 years later and got away with it, it all became obvious that he cheated Simon. Vast majority of our colleagues/friends were absolutely brilliant to us during Simon's fight again brain tumour, but a few made a meal out of it.
I have entered into a new phase of bereavement - anger. I will make sure these people (one highstreet bank as well) will be brought to justice eventually.
Thank you for reading.
