A brave man lost the fight

Less than one minute read time.
John lost his three year battle against this dreadful disease on Sunday with his family around him. He remained quiet and dignified till the end. We salute all the medical staff that cared for him and for us - they were truly wonderful. We are missing him so already and are finding it hard to understand that he will never come home again. Rest in peace John. Love always Moiraxxx

Moira, my heart goes out to you and your family at this terribly sad time.  I can only imagine what you are going through because each person deals with these situations in their own way.  If, after the initial shock of John's passing you begin to feel very numb and distant, be assured that that is a very normal and understandable reaction.  I send out my love and support to you and am always happy to offer support if you should want it.  pm me if you want to talk privately (I lost my dear Ray on 1st March this year). Love and Angel Hugs from Patricia x x

    Hi Moira,

I am so sorry for your loss, telling you that your husband is at peace may not be of much comfort to you just now as you are missing him.

I always think no matter what we believe in and what hope we personally have it doesn't take away the fact that someone very special is missing from your life, surround yourself with friends and family and ALWAYS talk about him, so many people feel they have to avoid speaking about their dead loved ones, but it will help you through if you do.

My husbands mother died 9 years ago (not cancer) and he still speaks to her!  He doesn't personally believe that she hears him but it helps him to get things off his chest.

Our thoughts are with you and your family

    Love Netty x
