Hi to you what can i say i know where you are comming from i had 7 weeks radiotherepy in 2005. It was not the best thing I have been through but it had to be done and i came through it. I recon that if i can do that you have a good chance to do the same. One thing that you  may want to do is find out if your hospital has transport and if you are allowed to have it free. The hospital that i am at is Addenbrookes and we do. you may also went to check that as you have to attend for so long that you get a reduced rate for parking. the treatment it hard and it is possible that you will lose a lot of weight but you should put that back on later. you know that you can get help from macmillan for clothing ect and as of 01/04/09 all cancer patients who are under going treatment can get a n NHS prescription charge certificate through your GP so that for the next 5 years you will not have to pay for your drugs. If you have not got one then go and see your GP asp and get one it will save you a lot of money. If I can be of any other help as a patient who has been there plaese let me know.

    Regards Mick

Hi  I hope that when you go for the results that all is well and the main thing is to stay poss about the whole thing.

It worked for me and now i am just about to finish a macmillan cancer support course to help others.
