We have had a great New year Rally at Faversham with the MCC
We didn't have to go very far as it was only 5 miles to the school where this venue was being held and we soon got there.
After settling in and saying hello to everyone we took the dog for a walk and got that chore out of the way.
Over the hall had coffee and sat and chatted with friends we hadn't seen for awhile and caught up on all the news and then went back to our Motorhomes to have a dinner and get ourselves ready for the evening where we all sat around and chatted and had music on.
Then News Year Eve we had a walk down town first with our friends and also walked out of town to visit their daughter who had just moved into a new house and it was nice to be nosy (as Louis was) and look all over it as she was so proud of being a first buyer.
We all walked back to the school so Louis had a really good run which meant he wouldn't mind being left in the evening as we partied away and celebrated another New Year.
The disco played as we had a great time all wishing each other "A Happy New Year" it made me feel good to know I had made another one but so sad as they played "Auld Lang Syne

I didn't get up until 10.30 news Year day as I was shattered and lucky enough there was no morning coffee so we got up slowly and then went for a lovely walk with Louis to get some fresh air.
In the afternoon I was awake to go to the hall and have a coffee and join in the "Play your cards right" and even a game of Bingo.
I loved the Children's entertainment then when they played their games and jumped around it is so nice to see so many children back in the club and have such a great time.
In the evening we had a singer to dance to and have another great evening. We do love a party in the MCC.
People came to me and asked for my book and I signed it for them, which was a great thing to be able to do and Im very proud of how they are enjoying reading it and cant put it down once they start. I never envisaged that at all.
On Sunday morning we got up and had coffee at 11am so we then walked down the road with Louis but Ray really fancied a Roast Dinner and must admit I did to, and that's just what we did after putting Louis in the M/Home and had a walk to Weatherspoons and it was a very nice Roast Dinner, oh! so great not to have to cook and the portions are very large to so we needed to walk it off afterward and went back to the Motor Home and slept it off as well.
Monday night was a games night, that was another evening of fun and laughter but boy it was getting very tiring.
All this eating and drinking and laughter wears you out.
Well we are home again and it has been a lovely time with super people at a rally where the atmosphere has been wonderful.
A Happy New Year to everybody xxxx
