My diary--our first stay at home weekend since May

2 minute read time.

We are staying home for the first time since May as it is cold and wet.

So boring though but I will get myself together and today is Spring clean the bedroom.

We have an Ottoman bed --all leather and very heavy so we cant pull it out to clean under.

We have to get all the items we store in it right out then take the bottom flooring out and Hey Presto we can see the floor.

All our floors are wood tiled so Louis hair and dust get right under and although I use one of those betterware dusters --the long and thin type--i cant get into corners, so Ray has to help me and we get the job done together.

Than I can sort out all the cupboards again and tidy our clothes.

I do try to throw away old and unworn clothes but I find that a difficult job as I hoard.

We saw sow shooting stars the other night but no shooting stars were seen again last night as we looked out as it was so cloudy, why does this happen every year.

I have booked up at a campsite near my Son's for the 25th to visit him on the way to Warwick so Im looking forward to seeing his new house.

He is well settled and his Villa in Cyprus is going along fine with new tenants so life is going well for him which is great.

Still working and  gigging as well so he is a happy bunny.

Great when plans come together.

Only another week to go and I will know the results of my scan--I wish they wouldn't do this to us surely by now they could email that OK you are fine and then it would free up the appointments for those that have a problem.

I'm still feeling OK though.

Pains in my back and lower lung and my hands are still twisted which is annoying when I try to open jars and do buttons up always having to ask for help.

I still loose my balance when I'm tired when walking but they are all things I can put up with.

Breathing gets tight when I walk but I take deep breath's to exercise the Lung and fill it with good sea air.

To much sitting about as I get really tired by 3pm is putting weight on my bum --a good middle age spread now so I must stop eating everything I fancy.

Cream cakes, Chocolate are all doing their damage --naughty but nice

Well signing off as Ray is up and I have work to do.

    Hi Mavis,

I'm at home alone.... he has gone to footie and I have a streaming cold..... wonderful as I am at the hospital monday!  Hopefully we'll both be celebrating at Warwick.  As to the cream cakes, the more weight you've got the longer it takes to loose it when you're poorly.  That's my thinking anyway - enjoy it.

  • Daffie I kno what you mean things dont matter so much now as you can always solve the problems.

But meso is a problem we cant solve so we just have to enjoy life so much. Enjoy the cruise goodluck xx
