    Dave and i decided to celebrate my life by getting matching phoenix tattoo`s,  the reason i chose a phoenix is because ..... like the phoenix, i keep rising from the ashes that we call cancer, im gratefull to still be here after, breast cancer, cancer in my uterus, 6 secondary cancers in my liver and one on my hip, i will hopefully keep rising from the ashes for a long time, thanks to the dreaded chemo, which is keeping…

    october (breast cancer awareness month) must be my lucky month, first i`m told my gremlins are behaving themselves, and now.... well best news ever, after a worrying few months of waiting for a c t scan to see if the lumps on mums lung are her breast cancer back, she was rushed into hospital on saturday, they said she had a serious urine and kidney infection..... they done her scan on thursday, and the results are that…

    yes i know it seems strange to write that , but if it wasnt for chemo i would already be ashes......

    i had a lovely phone call from my oncologist today, and the good news is my tumours are still the same as they were 3 months ago!  the 5  original tumours have been stable for nearly 2 years and the new one is still the same as it was 3 months ago...... so hopefully it will follow suit and stay stable for a long time.…

    i had my 6th and final (for now) chemo yesterday, all went well and they took my picc line out,...... happy days....so 14 chemo in just less than 2 years, which may seem a lot, but it has taken me 2 years past my sell by date, so as far as i am concerned it has been well and truly worth it,, if i get another 18 months or more i will be gratefull for it, another 18 months with my hubby daughter and her family, then whatever…
