we all know the old sayings, where there`s a will there`s a way..... where there`s life theres hope, well ever since, i suppose my first dx with breast cancer in 99.... but more so since they said i only had 3 months to live in 08 i have lived my life by believing that if i can just stay alive long enough, they will find a cure, well six months since i finished my last lot of chemo, which lets face it, its not a walk in the park, i had my latest scan last week, so my wizard oncologist rang me today........ all tumours STABLE.......plus NO new tumours, and..... (his words) in actual fact...... there is IMPROVEMENT in my liver!!!!!! actual improvement in my liver (yeah i know im repeating myself lol) i feel like im floating on air.
in 3 weeks time (march 17th) it will be exactly 3 years since they told me i only had 3 months to live!
the moral of the story is, dont give up, dont give in, frame of mind is half the battle....good luck everyone
