my lovely oncologist is off on the sick, so when i turned up for my app on the 18th he wasn`t there and no one informed me. so graciously i was ok with it, it`s not his fault he`s sick. so i phoned his sec the next day to re arrange, to be informed that they wouldn`t know till the following week.
the following week i was told he had a month sick line in, and i vaguely remember him having a long illness a few years back, anyway i digress. so,........ cant i just see some one else?? apparently i can, in 3 weeks time!!!!, sorry the other doc has to cover his own patience as well as dr abrams, yeah i do understand that i really do, but when your counting your life in weeks and months, 3 weeks seems to be a long wait, well theres not a lot i can do about it except kick up a fuss..... but thats not my style, my life is no more important than anyone elses i`m really not trying to say it is. it`s just a bit frustrating.
so my sis kim,(coincidentally) phoned today, to ask if i want to go to her place in spain on friday............ so, sod it i`m off till tuesday ,i know i just got back off my hols, but WHO CARES lol i dont, i`m not sitting around waiting.
don`t ya just get sick of sitting arround waiting, putting your life on hold,for a hospital appointment, or treatment to start/finish.
today is such a beautiful day and i`m really not in a bad mood, (although it probably reads like that lol) so every cloud has a silver linning. spain happens to be mine this week.

good for you Liz, i can only say GOOOO GIRL GOOOO HAVE A LOVELY TIME, don't let the doctor get away with it, let him know how you feel when you're back.
