Deal all, i only came across this site in August after finding that my 60 year old father had advanced liver cancer. During the past four months i have found a lot of comfort from reading such positive stories and seeing such support everyone gives each other. I have only joined in a few times, asking the odd question here and there and have been so overwhelmed with the kind responses.
Sadly on new years day my wonderful father passed away quietly at home with myself and my mother sat with him. While expected the shock seems so unexpected and the last two weeks seem to have passed in a blur. Today however i've found myself coming here again to read new stories and for the first time in what seems like ages found myself smiling.
I'm so very grateful to everyone who has supported me, offered kind words or just posted their stories so i could learn. I wish each and every one of you the very best for 2009 and the future.
