My wee maw finally lost her battle today, I have never known a more brave & courageous woman than my mum, she fought a long hard battle, my dad & I have been by my mums side for the last week & a half as she fought to stay with us, she never complained once & was forever apologising to us (can you believe that) it just shows what a truly remarkable woman she was, I will miss her forever & a day. I was honored to be there on her final journey & was with her to the end, I,ve cried a river as nothing will ever be the same without my wee maw & best friend, the fat lady has sung mum. I would also like to thank this wonderful site & the people who have supported me over the last 6 months, it was my saviour in my darkest hours, I,ve laughed & cried & shared thoughts & concerns on here.

hi laura just wanted to send my condolences to you & your family at this sad time . its awfull losing a parent or any one you care for . my dad lost his fight to lung cancer three years ago . i still miss him so much thats him in my pic.though now have got to the stage where i can remember the good times & laugh at the daft things he used to do .take care i am thinking about you love n hugs theresa xxx
