Thats another fine mess I've gotten myself into!!!!

Less than one minute read time.

Oh dear,

Seems me and Tamoxifen are not going to get along after all!!!!  Making me very weepy, waking me up at night to pee  about three to four times with a lovely hot flush thrown in for good measure!  Am hoping these things will pass, any suggestions?

Thanks, from a sweaty betty!

Maxine think we are along on the same path I started my taxmoxifen same time as you not seeing my ONC until 6th Jan, although I am part of a 'cancer survivors group' (very dramatic sounding) through St. Thomas's and Guys hospital here in London so have a phone meeting next week and will defo let them know how I am feeling!

Sarsfield I hear you with the getting up in the night business its such a pain, but I am grateful really and I know the drugs are doing the job they should be (well fingers crossed anyway).

Kate you hit the nail on the head I've gone from healthy 40 something to menopausal nut job at 90 miles an hour, wow I really wasn't expecting it to be so powerful!

Jill I'm sorry for your weepy joint pain, I too am weepy and my joint pain ended after I'd finished my 3 cycles of Docetaxel, hope you feel better soon?

Georgia you made me laugh will defo try the single malt whiskey and large drum of peanuts that sounds like a plan, although my boss wouldn't be too pleased either if I turned up to school smelling boozy and anyway the kids I work with bless them would tell me I had smelly breath little angels!!!!

Hiya Kaz, long time no squeak!!!!! Hope you are well? do you have a date for your reconstruction yet?  It's so tough isn't it, we go through diagnosis, surgery, chemo, radio and end up getting up in the night and being moody b.....ches!!! ha ha ha or have I always been like that :-)  Work is good thanks lovely to see all the children and parents again only working three mornings now which is  enough I'm going to review that after christmas!  Take care speak soon Kaz,  and thanks everyone for all your support I really DO appreciate it! xxxxxxxxx
