Hi everyone
my wife has just been diagnosed with RCC intermediate stage. Apparently, that's half way between stages 3 and 4. The cancer has spread outside her left kidney towards her lung and adrenal gland. It sounds very bad, but we live in hope. She has just started a course of Ipilimumab and nivolumab which we have been told is the gold standard treatment, which it seems to be.
Naturally, we're both in the dark, and frightened of the likely consequences of her diagnosis and just looking for hopeful replies from those who have a similar plan of treatment.
Many Thanks, Ronald
