  • Hi Zoe

That is such good news that there are no mets and I wish Joe all the very best and lots of luck for his treatment.  It’s good too that he is really positive as that is an excellent battle-mode approach.  Is he to have a total gastrectomy after the chemo?  If so, then his recovery will be very similar to my own (oesophagectomy) with similar side effects and dietary requirements etc.  So any time you need info around recovery issues please feel free to send me a private message and I’ll be happy to help.

Thanks for the info on fibromyalgia.  How are the symptoms controlled, is there specific medication?  My bloods have all checked out clear for the standard tests of diabetes, thyroid and iron so my GP said we’d look at fibromyalgia on my next visit.  Your comment about adrenalin triggering an attack is interesting as I feel a lot worse when I’m agitated or under stress.

Anyway, I hope you are well and thanks once again for the info.  Send my best wishes to Joe, stay strong.

    Kitty xx
