I AM NOT SURE HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS

Less than one minute read time.

I had an operation to remove one my testicles 3 weeks ago and I have just received the results from the operation. I had a seminoma tumour on my left testicle.

When I spoke to the doctor this afternoon I was told I was in stage 1, which is great news and I am going on a surveillance of test in a monthly basis to make sure that it doesn't reappear.

I have been feeling ok and quite positive all day, and happy that the last two months of hospital and doctor visits without knowing what was happening are over. But now is 3.16 am and I cannot sleep and maybe I don't feel as ok as I thought I was.

If anyone out there reads this I would be very grateful to hear experiences from other people.

Thank you

    Hi Jav,

Kez says it all. There are times when I cant sleep for weeks. Its just one big roller coaster. Sit tight you will get through it, and your sleep will come back. All the best and good luck.

Take care and be safe Sarsfield.

    Hi Jav,

I had 1 testicle removed and it was stage 1. Underwent 2 chemo sessions.

What exactly is surveillance, what exactly they do in this..?

Chemo was a bad experience. And I am still recovering from it. Hoping that I will lead a normal life.

    Take Care.

    Regards.
