Realistic Travel Insurance Quotes

Thanks for that Ian. Travel Insurance is a subject that crops up on a regular basis on this site. Some of the insurance companies really are unbelievable in their quotes. At the end of my treatment I was quoted over 2,000 pounds on a holiday that cost 399 pounds. I eventually found a company that charged me 22.50. No difference!

Hi Ian

Just went to Turkey, with only the basics covered as could not get a reasonable price. My quote was £460.00 for an all inclusive two week vacation costing £320.00!

Although blooming at the moment, I am classed as terminal. As such it was hard to even get that.

Would not be so bad if they rebated part of the payment on our return home, if no claim was made!

I will keep the Insure Blue name handy for the next trip

Hi Ian,  I'm going to Greece on Sunday, and also had problems - the company I used before (Mia Online) wouldn't insure me for either Greece or Turkey - said the healthcare there wasn't up to scratch!  Anyway, I got insurance for £44 with Travelwith.com. but will certainly check out the company you mentioned.

Glad to help. Just wanted to add that the company was called Insure Blue but when the policy came through it was Insure Pink. Same company though. Good luck to everyone.
