    I'll volunteer for an awkward shuffle so long as regular stops for the loo.  

    Actually, I really admire folk who do this, escpecially the likes of Jill Tomlinson (particularly as I was diagnosed on the day she died).    So long as the rest of us don't feel we must emulate the same then I'll be the first to cheer from the sidelines.
