Debs Daily Deliberations - 20

1 minute read time.
Afternooners, Day 30 of 33 DONE! I still can't believe I only have 2 more zaps to the bonce to get through! I have been so incredibly lucky, no side-effects other than major hairloss LOL No soreness, headaches, sickness, dizzyness or tiredness and two more days of applying that awful aqueous cream each night and my pillow can stop acting as a toboggan run with half the greasy cream ending up on it each night. Tony dropped me off in town today so I could browse for thank you presents........what a waste of time, I found nothing. However it was so windy I had to grab my hat before it completely left my head, there were a few people looking at me a bit strange but I am not sure that it was because of the hat ;) Had to go in Asda's cos thats all they have in the town, so we are having chicken stir fry with garlic and soy sauce for dinner. Waiting at the bus terminal and I saw a very odd looking man heading towards the waiting area, now there were 3 or 4 people in addition to me but I just KNEW he would sit next to me and start chatting and...........he didn't let me down!!! As luck would have it a bus that goes to my development (but goes round the houses) came in, I excused myself and breathed a sigh of relief when he said he had to wait for the next one. I can't be rude to these people and ignore them but somehow I attract them more than most (I know you are all nodding your heads in agreement here). Home and the laundry is out and hopefully still on the line! The dog has had his treat and now curled up on the sofa and I may just pop into chat. My little girl is sitting her first SATS exam today - 2 science papers. She actually went to bed early last night without being prompted!!!!!!! So thats my adventure for Monday. Thought for today: Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. Gandhi

  • Hi Debs,

Jasper Carrott did a wonderful routine with the title 'the nutter on the bus', bewailing the fact that 'the nutter' always honed in on him and in a completely empty bus always made for the seat next to him. It was hilarious. I get them too - I think if you have a half-way friendly face these poor folks think, 'Ooh - a sympathetic soul... they might talk to me'  and so they pounce!

I don't always comment on your blogs, Debs, but I do enjoy reading them. Keep 'deliberating'

Aww Debs,  glad to hear you are nearly at the end of your zapping.   Glad you managed not to lose your hat whilst out shopping, but you really do not have to buy me a thank you gift.   I will talk to you anyway lol.      I know what you mean about getting the "chatty" person latching onto you lol    I get that too lol    Good luck to your little girl for her exams.   Missed you in chat along with a whole string of others.  catch u later    love Tricia x x x

    Hiya Debs

Picked up on what you said about your daughter, who was sitting her sats today.... doing things without being prompted.

All yesterday, my daughter Rhiannon, (siting her GCSE English today) was doing things she doesn't normally do with out being told to.... you won't believe it,, revising.. (computer swithched off), ironing school clothes, washing the dishes, making me cups of tea..

I kept walking behind her yesterday, saying...what do you want?? ...your not Rhiannon, What have you done with her?  bring her back now....

She did see the funny side of it, and a got a smile out of her... (she's a teenager and doesn't smile a lot, she's got the moody look, down to an art)

Well debs glad to see I'm not alone...

I am pleased about your news, only two left to go, and with minimum side effects.. go girl.

    Love the blogs... keep blogging

    Take care
