Debs Daily Deliberations 147

2 minute read time.
Woke really early Saturday morning - around 6am ish, probably because I went to bed so early Friday night!!!! As I opened my eyes I knew the "buttercup" headache was still there before I even lifted my head from my pillow - feckin great!!!!!!!!!! Came downstairs and got a glass of squash, still feeling slightly nauseaus and didn't know if it was the chemo tabs, the headache or the fact I needed to go to the toilet.........and couldn't face tea with milk. Friday night Lara told me she would bring me breakfast in bed, so I switched on the computer, updated my blog, caught up with others and nosed around facebook before switching it off and putting the school uniforms on to wash and going back to bed......joined by both dogs as Tony was up at the crack of dawn for work (yaaaaaaaay overtime!). I dosed on and off till 10am when I was presented with two slices of toast and butter and a fresh glass of squash. Lara joined me on the bed with her Nintendo DS and even Jack the eldest came in and played with the dogs while I ate. I smiled in all the right places but I felt CRAP.......sick of it now. Got up and had not been downstairs for long when Tony came home. I actually faced a cuppa tea and he asked if I would like to go out for a drive for some fresh air and change of scenery, so I agreed, got dressed and popped a hat on OMG my hair looked awful, having just got out of the bath and let it dry "au natural" and then bedhair.......flippin gorgeous NOT. Oh well sod it, I am a headcase anyway!!!!!! Lara came with us and we drove to Wickes for some "bits and bobs" apparently and I walked around the store with him, even went into Argos where "we" splashed out on a PS3 and a couple of games to cheer "us" up - I don't touch games consoles LOL Then it was into Tesco's where Tony finally asked if I was OK cos I seemed to going round in "slow motion"........I was feeling poopy again but didn't want to say......we grabbed a couple of bags of Indian Meals for two and something for Lara as she was going to a party with my sister and then spending the night. Came home and I flopped onto the sofa for a bit. Ate some lunch and finally I started to feel a little bit better......as the afternoon wore on I could feel the headache dissipating slowly, we sat and watched the film Penelope which was actually quite good, a modern fairytale type film. I also managed to iron all the uniforms as they came in off the line so I knew they were done for Monday. When X Factor came on I was able to laugh at the awful acts and such. Watched another film The Mechanik with Dolph Lundgren a favourite of my hubby given the fact they both did the same style of karate to begin with - Kyokushinkai a pretty full on style which Tony gave up at 22 after a hernia op. I had stayed up until 22.45pm.....wohooooooooooooo dirty stop out LOL Lets hope Sunday starts just as well. Thought for yesterday: If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever. Quote from the film "The Crow, 1994"

    Hi Debs,

You sound as if you just get on with it. That is fab. I admire people like you when you feel rotten but still make an effort. You keep it up and keep going!! Sounds like you are fun.

Sounds like you have a great supportive family.

Haha Games eh, i still think of space invaders or that ping pong tennis game. Pinball machines or that high tech Tetris :)

Yesterday our game was searching online for property at the coast where we have always wanted to retire to.

We are thinking of bringing all our plans forward a few years, selling up hear, ofloading that huge mortgage...well we can dream.
