My mum had vulvarian cancer 4 yrs ago had a vulvectomy no other treatment all seemed well until about 11 weeks ago she started signs of cervical cancer after 6 weeks are worst fears where confirmed she had stage 3A cervical cancer after lots of optimism by the doctor that the success was great etc etc of getting shut of it ! 5 weeks of radium 5 days a week and chemo once a week for 5 weeks mum suffered every side effect and was really knocked for six :( she has no been told it had spread to the coccyx and pelvic lymph nodes :( she has now been sent home for six weeks to build her strength up for more treatment however it is no longer curable they are just going to try and contain it ! We all feel under informed they told mum they'd send her an appointment out in 5 weeks to return to clinic ?We have no idea of what is actually happening ? Can anybody help please ?
