Well that will teach me for jumping the gun. My scan was absolutely fine and I can just carry on with the Herceptin for at least the next 3 months. I got in to the Drs office and she asked how I'd been feeling and if I was concerned about anything...so I mentioned the 'lumps' I had felt. She told me nothing new had shown on the scan and that she would have a feel anyway. She examined me thoroughly all along my collarbone and neck and said it felt fine to her, then she showed me the CT images and I could clearly see myself that there was nothing there. She did say that it could be where I have lost weight and sometimes you feel things that have been there all along eg a prominent vein or muscle or something. I said I felt really silly because I had been so convinced and she said that its very common for people to be like that. I have promised myself that next time I will try to relax and not be so quick to assume the worst. Next scan in November.
