Just diagnosed

Less than one minute read time.

I cant really believe the diagnosis is right. I keep thinking they have it wrong. Marginal Zone Lymphoma. Other people get cancer, not me. I feel healthy and my friends and family think I’m over reacting. It seems it’s only be found by chance. I feel a bit neglected by the hospital as everything seems to take so long. If I’m ill, then they need to do something about it.

  • You are not alone.  I felt the same when Doctors diagnosed my Lymphoma 2 years ago.  I was completely denial and thought doctors were wrong.  I was very active and did not have any so-called B symptoms except a growth on my scalp and couple of lumps on my neck.   As soon as the treatment started the lumps started to shrink.  That's the time I started to believe what was going on within me.
