I had my second biopsy around the end of March and was diagnosed with CMML. My doc is quite good at the procedure and numbed my hip, but it still was no treat. I felt as you, like someone had given me a swift kick. I've had symptoms for 3 years and finally have a diagnosis. Hmmm don't know if I feel better or not. My symptoms come and go. When I overexert myself, I am tired for several days, but still can function. The worst is not having the zip to play with my grandkids who are 2 and 4. They also share every germ they can with me.When I feel blue, I go out and putter in my garden and pull some weeds. Most therapeutic.

    brenn:

I had thyroid cancer 9 yrs ago.  There were tons of tests & waiting 4 results seemed endless.  I ended up going thru surgery.  They only removed one side.  But recovery was a breeze.  I put tons of vitamin e oil on he surgery site (didnt want 2 look like frankenstien)  You can barely see the scar at all.  However, I am having recurring symptons & am afraid it is back,  I asked them to remove the whole thing but since otherside was fine, they wouldnt do it..

But be too frightened.  At this stage, there is no reson to think the worst.  Be positive & deal with things day by day.
