About a month and a half ago I was told I have bowel cancer and awaiting surgery. Has anybody else been through anything similar as I just can't get my head around what is happening and feel so alone. (Even though that may not be the case).

Oh hun, I'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. You are so young to have this horrible disease. But having youth on your side is a plus, and with a good consultant and treatment I'm sure it will be a good outcome. As Elma said, join the bowel cancer group. You will get lots and support and advice and can let off steam if you need to. I wish you all the best for your treatment and send you love and strength for the future xxx
